Hey el, I thought you re going out with me on Thursday? To shop? No? Haven't managed to get much clothes for CNY yet. Only got a dress, a pair of 3/4 pants and shoes. Most imptly want to get a new dress. Think that's about all. Booked ticket to Balai. Sat @ 11 20 pm.Geylang outing:Went to Geylang to eat last Friday. Food was so-so. But had quite an eye-opener experience. My friend told me there will be a beauty pageant and i didnt believe it. But when we turned into the alley, we really saw quality A gals. Standing in lines and showing off their good assets. (My friends told me there was once the fashion is bikini. ha.) Those are from country C and some looks very demure. You can pick anyone and bring back to pose as innocent gf. Cannot tell at all, at least from surface. Red Cliff 2 - ReviewPreferred the first one also. Agreed the second one a bit draggy, but i think the war part is a bit too long though. The stage belongs to the 2 female leads. A bit disappointing that those heroes have small roles to play in the movie. And also the movie potraits as if they would lose the war if not because of those 2 ladies. It's being unfair to the heroes.Mystery ShoppingAct as mystery shopper for my friend's skincare product, you gals should know which one. Quite fun. I was supposed to be difficult client but i think i was not very successful. Ha. Even need to observe the color of her nails/shoes/uniform.

Hi... just to let you two my schedules for next week.1. Mon : Lesson from 8 30 to 7 302. Tue : Mole removal (P.s. must get it done before CNY)3. Wed : Lesson from 8 30 to 1 304. Thu : Hangout with NTU friends5. Fri : Lesson from 10 30 to 12 30 (Free after that)6. Sat : Badminton session in afternoon and go out with WC after that7. Sun : FreeReview of Red Cliff (Final Battle)Mmm.. not bad lah, but I dont think it is as good as the first part. A bit too draggy at the beginning and a bit too messy during the final war. Im not very satisfied with Tony Leong's acting. I think the scene where he played sword and Xiao Qiao was making tea can be cut and more scenes should be given to the war. More scenes should be given to Zhang Fei, Guan Yu and especially ZHAO ZI LONG (I tink he is very cool.. I tink his Kung Fu is the best inside). Im also quite dissappointed cos ZhuGeLiang is a bit calefare in the second part. But overall, it was still not bad lah. Although Zhou Yu and ZhuGeLiang were very smart as they were greatly outnumbered but they can still win the war beautifully, their method was quite cruel. They acted like nowadays terrorists where they sacrificed their soldiers to burn their opponent's ships. And so many people (especially the Cao Cao' soldiers) died and so many assets were destroyed. Im not very busy recently, but was vexed over my elective modules. I must complete at least 2 electives in order to graduate. But currently, I have only one and I dropped another one, "Mind of Sun Tzu". I thought it was a fun module but I think it's quite tough. Our first quiz is to psycho-profile Hitler. Furthermore, either you score full mark or zero for your quiz. Our lecturer won't give marks in betwwen. . Siao.. My appeal of other elective was rejected, and I was left with no choice and must take a material engineering module, "Introduction to Manufacturing Process", which was the core module for ME students.. haiz.. Cham sia.. Why my last semester so suay?? I must relli go for mole removal ASAP.
I know that Clover did not read my post clearly, that's why she did not know that I have bought a new "Zebra" kettle, from OG. So I don't need kettle as my birthday present haha. You only read the highlighted part, right, Clover? haha
I bought a 3-quarter pant just now. So I juz need to get another one or two tops then I'll end my CNY shopping. I can meet on any weekdays for shopping. Weekend is not ideal for shopping trip.. quite sianz and time-wasting.. can't stand the crowd. So when are you all free? Lastly, I'll be watching Red Cliff tonight :)

Yeah! I'll be on early shift next week. Which day can we go shopping? I can go off ard 7 o clock.

Btw, I've sent a volunteer form to our shared gmail. Please print out and fill in the form. So we can start something asap. Pass it to me so i can send them out together. Preferably by this weekend.
Sus, you can go to my pedicure place if you want to do yours. I have a package at Far East. The place is pretty good. I think the pedicure cost around 30 bucks, but French cost more.
I'll go down to harbourfront during my lunch on 12th jan. Being kiasu. he. I don't want to go down too late.

Been quite busy these few days (no time to blog at work and my younger sis came). Btw, i ve figured out the place of another famous dim sum place at Chinatown. That can be our next target if we're craving for another dim sum spread.
No more flu. but been coughing very badly. maybe that explains my sore mood for the past few days. didnt bother to see doctor or eat any medicine too. cant be bothered. been feeling very tired. think lack of exercise as well. really don't like working late shifts. feel really xing gu if i have to work late shifts more than one week. sus, dont know how u manage to adapt.

Didnt blog for few days cos my mouth is damn painful. One ulcer on each side of my mouth.. quite big.. ard 5mm in diameter. I still have three more hours of break b4 my lesson, so I can blog now.. too free haha
Today is 2nd day of my school. As usual, boring teacher, boring lesson, boring class and I cant relli smile today cos of my stupid ulcers. So I had to give my new teammates "black face" haha.
Yesterday, I went Bugis to 还太岁(Dandelion! Dont forget) and 拜拜. I saw quite a few of fortune tellers and I had an urge to ask them on whether I should remove my mole. But no point, since I decided to do so le (And also feel quite suay with the mole). We will go for consultation this sat at 11 (Clover, maybe we can meet up for a short while if you dont mind cos Dan has lesson at 2).
I did some shopping yesterday. I bought my dad's medicine, kettle, 8 pairs of earrings (for $10), eyebrow shaver and pencil and two inner clothes for CNY haha. In fact, I want to get one more set of outfits, but nothing relli caught my eyes. I tink we should organise a shopping trip cos CNY is coming soon.
On monday, I was damn suay. I almost burnt my house. I boiled a kettle of water and I forgot to turn off the gas. The water boiled for appx. 1.5 to 2 hrs. When I came out of my room, the water in the kettle was dried, AND THE PLASTIC HANDLE AT THE COVER OF THE KETTLE MELTED ENTIRELY. Then I had to spend almost the whole day (exclude lesson and MRT time) to scrub off those plastic that had solidified on my stoves.
Lesson Learnt: I will never buy Unknown Brand (exclude brands like Philips, Sony) of electrical or kitchen appliances that are Made in C. (so stupid!! how can the handle of kettle melt. That is very dangerous)

I've watched that episode of Kang Xi which featured Derrick and Kelly. I didnt know that Huang Jing Lun is Singaporean as well. Just know from Kelly's mouth that he was also one of the contestants in Project Superstar I (if I didnt hear wrongly haha). You know what? Tink I didnt have a good impression of Kelly after watching Kang Xi and Guess. She is too "fake", acts friendly, blur, attracts attention and acts "hao ren". She is trying to copy Sun Yanzi's style sia, but she didnt fit at all. During Kang Xi, when asked about who are most popular in Singapore, she said sth like she had a big crowd shouting for her during her "revival round performance" (翻身赛), but later realized that Huang Jin Lun even got bigger crowd shouting for him than her. But I dont even know who was Huang Jing Lun at that time (or maybe I am suaku), I thought Derrick was more popular? She juz tried to hint that she was POPULAR lor. Then, when 小S asked Derrick to 模仿 Aaron kwok, Kelly kept saying "超相". But only a little bit like Aaron. So fake sia. She was like purposely making Derrick embarassed. During GUESS, she also kept raising stupid questions.. bit attracted attention, when Jacky Wu didnt even bother to ask her to talk. I didnt mean to insult her lah, She might not do it purposely one. But I relli dont like her image now, maybe she should change back to her old image. On contrary, I tink Xing (Shi Xing Hui) likes getting better and better. Her voice is more unique, at least I can identify her song by her voice, but definitely not for Kelly. As for Derrick, I tink he becomes a lot better now. Last time I dont like the way he talked, like very zuai bu la ji, but now not at all. And I can see that he put in alot effort in improving his singi ng, dancing, etc. Same thing goes for Huang Jing Lun. I find that he is the combined version of Derrick and Hong JunYang. His body-built and style looked like Derrick, but his face somehow bit looks like Hong JunYang. Tree 树

About the exemption from fiscal tax payment,
1. change address in our last page of passport (should tally with our PR address) - this can be done in indo embassy -> does that mean we have to change the address to Spore address?
I heard that if we (me & El) can produce the student card, we ll be exempted too. But I haven't got my student card yet... :( I am starting work on coming Mon, sorry ya...

Need to update you gals on the tax & fiscal issue (according to my friend):
- we do not need to pay tax in indo as long as we do not apply for NPWP. As we are not tax resident of indo (stay less than 183 days there and do not remit our income back to indo), we should not subject to indo tax)
- fiscal in balai has been implemented (we are no longer exempted from fiscal payment). but i heard the implementation has been pushed back for half a month till 15th jan.
- fiscal tax payment: i heard we (indo working in foreign country and tax resident in foreign country) will be exempted from fiscal if we can produce the documents below:
1. change address in our last page of passport (should tally with our PR address) - this can be done in indo embassy
2. PR
3. tax resident status cert from IRAS (this is optional, unless they asked for it)

Had steamboat at this place called Zhen Cu Fang (@ bugis shaw tower). think it's pretty good. the food is fresh and nice. Price is ard 18/pax. We can try this next time if we feel like having steamboat buffet. it's air-conditioned and the food is served (so we do not need to fight for the food). and also the place is pretty nice and spacious (we wont find rats in the drain or watever). - remember our last experience at tian tian?
It's just that the service is freaking slow! the waitress took whole 20 mins to clean up one table. Even sat down to wipe the table. As if they didnt notice the long queue out there and the clients' hungry/angry face. We were so amazed by the service attitude.
Overall, it's still worth the visit. but I think it'll be better if we can make reservation or go there earlier before we feel hungry. If not, for sure we wont be able to appreciate their service culture. Ha.
and also, remember do not order the spicy soup (think it s si chuan ma la). I only ordered xiao la (small spicy) and it was so hot till my lips were swollen (didnt even dare to drink the soup, just ate the food inside). i gave up half way though, coz i was not able to take it anymore. the chicken soup is nice. must try.

On MC today.
First MC i've taken in the past 2 yrs of my working life. Flu and cough... and also my whole body is aching
Yeah. should arrange for another sentosa trip lah. quite pity didnt get chance to visit the beach. didnt really exercise much also. ate a lot though, ha. ... couldnt really enjoy much too coz was not feeling too well + spoiler weather + fell down from bike = must go again next time!!!
just for our record:
ate at T J L @ 13/per pax
We ordered Xiao Long Bao (3/5), Guo Tie (3.8/5), Ribs (2.8/5), Porridge (2/5), Prawn sth (2.5/5).
Overall think it's fine lah. at least found it more comfortable than HX.
Let's explore another restaurant next time then.
