Had steamboat at this place called Zhen Cu Fang (@ bugis shaw tower). think it's pretty good. the food is fresh and nice. Price is ard 18/pax. We can try this next time if we feel like having steamboat buffet. it's air-conditioned and the food is served (so we do not need to fight for the food). and also the place is pretty nice and spacious (we wont find rats in the drain or watever). - remember our last experience at tian tian?

It's just that the service is freaking slow! the waitress took whole 20 mins to clean up one table. Even sat down to wipe the table. As if they didnt notice the long queue out there and the clients' hungry/angry face. We were so amazed by the service attitude.

Overall, it's still worth the visit. but I think it'll be better if we can make reservation or go there earlier before we feel hungry. If not, for sure we wont be able to appreciate their service culture. Ha.

and also, remember do not order the spicy soup (think it s si chuan ma la). I only ordered xiao la (small spicy) and it was so hot till my lips were swollen (didnt even dare to drink the soup, just ate the food inside). i gave up half way though, coz i was not able to take it anymore. the chicken soup is nice. must try.
